My profile
I'm Ian Pringle in Vancouver, Canada. I'm a media specialist with the Commonwealth of Learning. I love media, especially media you can use. Coming out of my own experience, I am most interested in working with young people and others that are looking for tools to express their ideas and get information. I've been working for many years with groups into community radio, TV and new media tools. After ten years as a broadcaster and programme organizer here in Canada, I worked with media groups in South Asia for eight years. Before coming back to Vancouver, I was fortunate to spend a year at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris coordinating the Organization's community media and ICT programmes.

Notes from my WikiNeighbours
Hi Ian, I'm your WikiNeighbour. Just stopped to say hello. I'll be assisting Nellie Deutsch facilitating the EL4C24 Wiki Skills Training Workshop (March 30 - April 3) for Community Media Practitioners and HIV AIDS Treatment Literacy Experts. Please let me know if I can be of any help to you. Gladys Gahona.--chela5808 06:50, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Coincidence: I went to George Pringle Scondary School, Westbank, BC. Any relation? (He was from Peachland) --Philbartle 06:43, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
