The Todd Foundation have very generously made available the opportunity for Polytechnic students to apply for Awards for Excellence (Polytechnic) Link to the Todd Foundation web page
In 2008 the Todd Foundation began offering scholarships for polytechnic students in their last year of study for research projects that have a practical application in NZ. The scholarships are offered on an annual basis in four categories:
- Science and Technology (including Agriculture and Conservation)
- Engineering and Manufacturing (including Architecture and Design)
- Business and Commerce; and Health
- Social Sciences.

This scholarship is administered by Otago Polytechnic on behalf of the Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics of New Zealand (ITP New Zealand). Full details are available at ITPNZ’s web site in the Awards section. Please contact your tertiary institution’s scholarships officer or:

Deadline for Applications
The Todd Foundation ITP Awards for Excellence have 'now closed for the current grant round.' This funding is for students studying at a Polytechnic @ level 7 or above who wish to undertake a research project in 2010. This is ideally suited to Masters research and as such we would like to remind students that they can apply to this fund.
