About Me
My name is Dingane K. Mwale. I am a Consultant at Industrial Training Centre trust. My previous work was at Zambia Institute of Management City campus. I teach the following Courses Computer Architecture, Programming, Communication Skills, Computer Repair, Small Business Systems, Troubleshooting of Computer Software, Information Systems Practice, Programming and Web Application, Business Information Systems, Database Systems, Computer Fundamentals, Networking Engineering and Object Oriented Programming, Software Methodology and Installation and Engineering Aspects of Microprocessor and IT Applications. Besides these professional courses I also teach short courses which include the following Website designing (using HTML JavaScript, VBscript, FrontPage), Networking Techniques, Windows Server, Microsoft Project and Computer Packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Database etc).
I'm a professional programmer in Visual Studio 6.0 and Visual Studio 2008 editions. With these, I'm able to design state of the art Windows based applications that range from small to high end systems. I've used this talent at my work place where I've designed the Student Database System that Zambia Institute of Management (ZAMIM) uses. And currently am designing the Human Resource Management professional, a system that will handle most of the manual functions of the HR department in an organisation. My Experience
- I have been teaching for Four years to date and enjoy the teaching environment. My other work includes organizing education tours especially for senior students, Systems Administration and also advising students generally on how to handle exams.
- Before Zambia Institute of Management I worked for the World Vision Zambia (Shot contract) and Creso Ministries at GO Centre and also work as IT Specialist at Gospel Outreach Christian Academy (GOCA).
My Training expectations
- I have a lot of expectations from this training as I also promise a lot to others. I have learnt a lot in the WiKiEdicator programe, this will enable me teach others about the WiKiEducator but most important I will teach a lot to both my students and also those that will be interested in the academic information. I promise to do my best in order that others can benefit.
My interests
My interests and Outside Activities are
- learning new technologies in ICT or Information Systems / have interest in Science
- Learning new programming languages other than the ones I know
- I love physical fitness and computing
- I fellowship and I'm a member of Capital Christian Ministries International (CCMI).
- What is pedagogy
- This is a methodology of teaching. Pedagogy is also sometimes referred to as the correct use of teaching strategies. In correlation with those teaching strategies the instructor's own philosophical beliefs of teaching are harboured and governed by the pupil's background knowledge and experiences, personal situations, and environment, as well as learning intentions set by the learner and teacher collectively
