About Me
Dabesaki Mac-Ikemenjima is a youth development researcher, advocate and policy consultant, with over four years hands-on experience. His key areas of interest include: youth sexual reproductive health, including HIV prevention, Information and Communications Technology for education (ICT4E) and development frameworks, with a particular emphasis on youth inclusion and participation. His consulting experience includes assignments completed for: United Nations Population Fund, the Commonwealth Youth Programme and the African Union Commission.
About Me
He was involved in the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation’s pioneer work towards the establishment of a virtual library in Nigeria and served as temporary adviser to the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS in 2006 & 2007 respectively. He was the pioneer Executive Director of Development Partnership International and was a co-founder of the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS. He is currently Nigeria’s representative to the Commonwealth Youth Caucus.
Workshops I Have Organised
He has organised several workshops on youth development, HIV/AIDS and various development frameworks.
