The Arts and Physical Education Programme
The Arts and Physical Education programme (Basic) of the Bachelor of Education degree of the University of Trindad and Tobago seeks to provide student teachers with dynamic practical experiences that would,in addition too developing their own skills and competencies in the content area, allow them to effectively teach the subjects at the primary school level.
The Programme Design
The programme is divided into four components viz:
- The Nature and Purpose of the Arts and physical Education
- Studio Competencies (Practicals)
- Pedagogy and Practice
- Integration with other subjects
