Learning about discussion

This is not really a new thread - but I thought I would start one anyway - as this is just for us to test and learn! Like Anita I am a bit late in catching up with the rest of the 'class' - WE is fun though! alison

Patricia - I am not so sure if this is the right place to post our day 8 stuff coz it is dated by last year. Thank you for your positive enthusiasm about my attempts on my user page. I guess this winter you have needed warm wishes. chris

Hi Chris! I guess this is the right place as I have navigated my way here as well! Nice affirmation to see that some one has been before me! I would also like to thank Patricia for her enthusiasm and especially her patience!

Clairbee (talk)16:06, 27 January 2010

Agreed Claire re Patricia's patience guess she has had bunnies on courses - I have found the tangled web of where to ask the questions and discussions and after 3 gentle nudges from Patricia I found I could use the proper channels. School started today and guess what - summer arrived!

Cmcgill (talk)18:50, 28 January 2010

Wow! You have started early! We have Tony Ryan tomorrow and whole staff meeting on Monday. Kids arrive on Tuesday. And yes, summer has finally arrived here - I managed to predict this timely arrival as I have a half marathon WALK on Sunday and guessed it might be the first 30 degree day we see... I will let you know!

Hi, I've had a really hard time finding the right place to "talk". I kept running into Nov/Dec threads. Thank you for your patience.

Hello everyone! Finishing day 8 objectives a little bit late... This has been a great experience, and I have learned a lot! Thank you! :) --anapintoferreira 19:57, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

I'm sure this has been covered and I just missed it, but .... How can I reply to someone who has left a comment on my user page? I can't seem to find any identifier or reply tag. Thank you for your help!

Cduren (talk)04:57, 29 January 2010

Hi Chris! Not an expert but I clicked on the reply bar and arrived here to leave my post... If the author remembers to sign their quote, it seems easy. I guess anonymous blogs need to be moderated especially carefully...

Where to next???

Sorry - have been playing but now have a genuine question! If this site is closed on Saturday - where and what forum do the novices tap in to? As a novice, I want to keep going but am unsure of the best way to maintain and up my skills... Clairbee 10:07, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

WE for children

As a teacher, I endeavour to make every use of web tools to enhance the class programme but to also demonstrate principles of the web. Do people see WE as a possible place for children to establish expert pages and to collaborate with a range of experts about learning, with teacher supervision?
