• be able to suggest appropriate content for an ePortfolio for a range of different learners in a range of different contexts
• be able to demonstrate an understanding of a range of ePortfolio Authoring Options
• be able to discuss the relative advantages of a range of ePortfolio Authoring Options
• be aware of a range of Open Source ePortfolio tools

after this session the participant will:

• have created an ePortfolio and added basic content
• have added reflections to their ePortfolio entries
• be able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of reflection in the learning cycle and the ePortfolio process
• be able to discuss strategies that could be used to encourage learners to reflect on their learning, achievements and aspirations
• be able to discuss the relationship between reflection and digital story telling

• uderstand what their role is in the ePortfolio process and what they must be able to do to support students who are using ePortfolios

• discuss the reasons behind the move towards competency based interviews
• discuss how an ePortfolio can be used to store and present evidence of competence

• be aware of the relationship between an developmental ePortfolio and a presentational ePortfolio
• be aware of the opportunity to compile a presentational ePortfolio and use it in the end of Module presentation

after this session the participant will:

• be able to demostrate an understanding of a range of strategies that can be used to integrate ePortfolio processes into the curriculum
• be aware of some barriers that might prevent curriculum integration of ePortfolio processes
• be able to devise an action plan that would enable them to promote the integration of ePortfolio processes into thier institutions curriculum

after this session the participant will:

• be able to demonstrate an understatnding of how an ePortfolio and theePortfolio process can support formative assessment and summative assessment

after this session the participant will:

• be able to devise an action plan that would enable them to devise a personal action plan -
  • what they will do to develop thier ePortfolio skills
  • waht they will do to promote the use of ePortfolios into their institutions/curriculum
• have updated their ePortfolio to include their Action Plan
