Hi Dennis,

I am running for the community council elections and wondering if you will kindly go to the nominations page and endorse my nominations. All you have to do is sign at the end of this page.

The deadline is 24th July so please act now if you will.

There are so few Africans on borad and think that you can also apply now. All you need is two nominations, one of which should be in the top 50 active users. We can endorse each others nominations. WIll be sending you an email shortly.

You've already heard from people saying you have a great user page, but here's how true it is: Your page is so great that Minhaaj and I were inspired to recognise pages like it. We've set up the User Page Expo to do this and selected yours as the first awardee!

I sincerely apologize for the delay in reply. I am really honored by your comments. I am still going through your page but one thing for sure, you are one of the great personalities we have in this community.

I am really interested in working with you on various projects in developing learning materials, and I know there is a lot we can learn from each other. You can always count on me to support in anyway I can.

I am just started working on a project called WikiEducator Virtual Academy(WEVA), which would be aiming at developing over 5000 learning materials by year 2010. I will be very glad if I could have you onboard (especially for Quality Assurance and Editing).

Hey Dennis, Thank you! The statistics were created by User:Pankaj and then recolored blue by User:Wikirandy. I'm a firm believer in borrowing whatever resources are available. As far as 'my' work goes, the credit goes to 36 hard working students. They find the ideas, work them up, try them with the school children from our partner schools, and report on the results. I get to be cheer-leader in chief!! I had to abandon wikia because the advertising was not compatible with young students. However, the folks in wikia were very helpful and I learned a lot over there. Cheers Dmccabe 01:04, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

I finally got around to using your code: http://www.wikieducator.org/User:Dmccabe. I can't say that I understand how it all works, but I now have a boxed page based on your design. I did credit you at the borrom of the page, and I thank you for providing such a wonderful example. As I learn more, I'll tweak the code and see what happens.

Hello again Dennis I checked out your Winneba project and it looks excellent. I like your %completed template; I may borrow that at some point also. I also need to develop an 'about this project' page. I have a friend who developed some wonderful logos for a different project and I have asked him to consider making one for my project here. I'd like something more inclusive than our college logo. I feel that the college logo is less likely to invite collaborators from outside our institution.
