Dr Manuel Serrano

I am Manuel Serrano, a general internal medicine doctor from Spain. I spent two years at the University of Pittsburgh (PA-US) on the Clinical Research Training Program. My focus of interest are chronic diseases and patient and family empowerment through the use of the new information technology. I am the Director of the Expert Patient Programme in Spainand Coordinator of the Global Alliance for Self Management Support or GASMS.This two initiatives are promoted from the Education Health, and Society Foundation, which I am the President. For our main project, the GASMS we are setting an international plattform for online collaboration among health proffesionals, patients and relatives, policy makers and stakeholders.You may join the GASMS here
