Is Linux difficult?

  • Installing Linux is just as easy or difficult as installing Windows and once installed, working with it is almost identical to working with Windows.
  • Different program's to accomplish common tasks, ie.:
    • Gimp instead of Photoshop (jpg)
    • Amarok instead of iTunes (mp3)
    • K3B, Brasero instead of Nero (CD-burner)
    • Kopete, Pidgin instead of MSN Messenger
    • OpenOffice instead of MS-Office
    • Firefox instead of Internet Explorer
    • Dolphin, Konqueror instead of Explorer
