Hi Minhaaj,

Just touching base to see how you're going with adding appropriate licensing tags to content you copied from Wikipedia? Let me know if I can help or if you'd like to discuss further. But note that unless the appropriate tags are added, I think it would be in the WE community interests to delete content which violates the original copyright license. -- Jtneill - Talk - c 10:24, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

What do you reckon, Minhaaj? Just to remind you, here's a list of articles I'm aware of that you seem to have copied from Wikipedia which need an appropriate license added in order to be considered legal:

  1. Barriers to employment for international students
  2. Bias in Education
  3. Free education
  4. MIT OpenCourseWare
  5. OER
  6. Scholarships

I encourage you to support and lead the WikiEducator community and project by demonstrating appropriate respect for copyright. -- Jtneill - Talk - c 13:12, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi Minhaaj,

FYI, I've been holding off voting in the election, pending your response to this thread. Would appreciate hearing a response to the issues - the conversation feels a bit one-sided to me at the moment! What do you think? -- Jtneill - Talk - c 10:24, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi Minhaaj, Congratulations on your election to the WE council! Just noting here that there is a related thread on the WE discussion list: http://groups.google.com/group/wikieducator/browse_thread/thread/8236c87726096914. I'm interested to hear your views.
