There have been no changes to this discussion for at least 14 days. If it is concluded, you may want to write a summary.
Of the (is it 3,000) people trained in Learning4Content workshops, how many have requested certification? Any?
Hi Chris, that's a good question --
Of the 3000+ educators who have enrolled for training -- we haven't actually done a count of the actual figures. My estimate would be between 15 - 20% of the participants, but that is a guess. You will find listings of certified users for the different categories here:
We should also review all the educators that have registered for training and see what levels have been attained. A great project for the community to help with.
Cheers Wayne
Hi Chris,
With Jim's help, we've run a script which has done a count on certifications as of yesterday. We have:
- 390 WikiApprentice Level 1
- 480 WikiApprentice Level 2
- 124 Wikibuddies
- 30 Wikiartisans
In total 1024 certifications. If we assume the majority of certifications arising from Learning4Content training sessions -- the pecentage is a little higher than I expected -- i.e. about 30% of Learning4Content participants, which is not bad for an optional system. We don't have any certified trainers as we're still in the process of finalising the criteria -- but I would imagine that we have at least 30 folk international who would qualify at this level.
Cheers Wayne
