So what's this all about then?

The MyHomeYourHome project is a collaborative initiative guided by a group of students in Vancouver, working to design and build a tiny home through open internet-based collaboration with the public, including students, professors and professionals. We have built several hubs for online involvement in the project: this wiki, a research blog, a mailing list and a facebook group.

Upcoming Events

Prefab 20*20 is a competition being launched by Architecture for Humanity, Azure magazine and IDSWest right about now. We're excited about this, and we'll likely put together an entry. 20*20

The Living Density gallery show is wrapping up on May 22nd. Everyone is invited to the closing reception from 7-12. Grace Gallery, Main and 3rd, Vancouver.

After the Exhibition
Now that the show is over, we'll be shifting our focus to a long term plan. This might include the Architecture for Humanity Vancouver prefab 20*20 contest, and the Vancity Green Building Grant.
Gallery closing ceremonies
The Living Density Forum, which was kind enough to host our research and development activities for the last two weeks, is having a closing party this Friday evening.
The MyHomeYourHome project will be presenting a bit of a conclusion to our recent work.

Rachel was very lucky to attend a workshop with Jay Shafer of Tumbleweed on the opening weekend of the Gallery show. Thanks Jay and Steve! We learned a lot!
