CIDER is the Canadian Institute for Distance Education Research. Sponsored by Athabasca University, Canada's Open University, CIDER invites researchers and graduate students to join them for free as Research Fellows and Graduate Students Fellows, which includes social networking and other benefits, including a series of free online seminars on distance education topics.
