To successfully understand how to operate a computer, whether it be a desktop, laptop or netbook; it is helpful to be able to demonstrate the following:
Differentiate among various commonly used operating systems
Employ operating system(s) to perform basic operations of disk and file management
Describe the problem of computer viruses and methods to detect and remove them
