"To have reached the stage where we are technically able to share knowledge and enhance education right across the world is a wonderful thing. This sharing, however, cannot be done at zero cost. Suitable, web-ready material needs to be adapted, designed and paid for by somebody. The costs are extraordinarily modest by the standards used before OER and the benefits beyond imagination.
