GIVING COLORs TO TEXT

The Syntax for giving colors other than the default color to text is <FONT COLOR="Color Code">Your Text here</FONT>. In the place for "Color Code" give the code including the # symbol as seen in the colored cells above.

If you can't remember the color code many names of common colors also work. For example, the following <font color="darkgreen">My dark green text</font> gives us, My dark green text.

it's not working.

FILLING WIKI TABLE CELLS WITH COLORs

As you know wiki syntax for a simple table with two cells and two rows is

{| class="wikitable"

|-

! header 1

! header 2

|-

| row 1, cell 1

| row 1, cell 2

|}

Suppose you want to fill the headers of the above table with colors having codes #FFCC66 and #99FFFF then the syntax will be like the following

{| class="wikitable"

|-

! style="background-color: #FFCC66" | Your Text Here

! style="background-color: #99FFFF" | Your Text Here

|-

| row 1, cell 1

| row 1, cell 2

|}

and you will get a table as seen below:

Your Text Here Your Text Here
row 1, cell 1 row 1, cell 2
